    •  Depart Kathmandu for a long but scenic drive through Nepal's rural hills to Syabrubesi, the starting point of the trek. The journey provides glimpses of terraced farms and local village life.​​​​​​​

    • Today, we swap the alpine altitude for the serenity of the forest. The trail winds downhill from Kyanjin Gompa, tracing the path of the Langtang River through the heart of the valley. You'll pass traditional yak pastures and prayer wheels, with the landscape shifting dramatically from open vistas to dense rhododendron and bamboo forests. Keep an eye out for potential wildlife sightings, including the elusive red panda and playful langur monkeys. This scenic descent offers a comfortable pace and a beautiful natural contrast to the high-altitude days.

    • After breakfast at Lama Hotel, begin a scenic uphill trek through dense rhododendron and oak forests. The trail passes quiet streams and small settlements, offering chances to spot wildlife along the way. Gradually climbing, you’re rewarded with mountain views before reaching the charming Tamang village of Thulo Syabru, rich in culture and hospitality.

    • After breakfast in Thulo Syabru, the trail climbs steadily through dense forests of oak, rhododendron, and bamboo. The path winds uphill with occasional stone steps, opening to beautiful viewpoints overlooking the Langtang range and deep river valleys below.

      As you gain altitude, the air becomes cooler and fresher. Along the way, you may spot Himalayan birds and, if lucky, red pandas hiding among the trees. The walk ends at Singh Gompa, also known as Chandanbari, a peaceful settlement famous for its ancient monastery and traditional yak cheese factory.

    • Today is one of the most meaningful days of the journey. The trail gradually ascends above the tree line, offering wide alpine landscapes and panoramic Himalayan views. As you climb higher, prayer flags and stone shrines mark the route, reflecting the spiritual importance of the region.

      The final ascent leads to Gosainkund Lake, a revered pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists. Surrounded by rugged peaks, the crystal-clear turquoise waters create a deeply peaceful atmosphere. Pilgrims believe the lake was formed by Lord Shiva, making it one of Nepal’s most sacred high-altitude destinations.

    • The morning is spent exploring the Gosainkund area. You can walk around the main lake and nearby smaller lakes, enjoy sunrise views over the Himalayas, and take time for reflection in this spiritually charged environment.

      After soaking in the serene surroundings, the trail descends along the same route back to Chandanbari. Walking downhill allows more time to enjoy the scenery and notice details missed on the ascent.

    • Today marks the final trekking day. The trail descends through forested hills, passing small settlements and prayer wheels. The sound of flowing streams and birdsong accompanies the walk as you return to warmer elevations.

      Arrival in Dhunche, the district headquarters of Rasuwa, officially concludes the trekking portion of the journey. This lively town offers a comfortable place to relax after days in the mountains.

    • After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive back to Kathmandu. The road follows river valleys and terraced hillsides, gradually transitioning from rural landscapes to the vibrant capital city.
