6:00 AM – Drive from Kathmandu to Nagarkot
Your day begins with a scenic 1.5-hour drive from Kathmandu to Nagarkot Hill Station (2,100m). Upon arrival, head to the Nagarkot View Tower to catch stunning morning views of the Himalayas, including Langtang, Dorje Lakpa, Gauri Shankar, and Everest on clear days.
7:00 AM – Begin Hiking from Nagarkot to Changunarayan
After enjoying the sunrise, start the hike along a gentle ridge trail toward Changunarayan, Whis is about 13 km downhill ridge walk the oldest temple in the Kathmandu Valley.Along the trail, you’ll pass through charming Tamang and Newar villages, giving you a chance to observe daily life, local culture, and farming activities. 12:00 PM – Explore Changunarayan Temple
Reach Changunarayan Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its ancient arts, stone carvings, and pagoda architecture. You’ll have time to explore the temple complex and learn about its historical significance. This is the oldest Hindu temple in Kathmandu valley with its own history,
1:00 PM – Drive Back to Kathmandu
After exploring the temple, drive back to Kathmandu (approx. 45 minutes).
